Matthew Kilmurry is the Senior Director of Marketing at Drinker, Biddle & Reath. Matthew has a lead role in developing marketing strategies to support Drinker Biddle’s various practice areas. With 620 lawyers in 12 offices nationwide, Drinker Biddle strives to provide clients with unparalleled service across a broad spectrum of industries.
Matthew is the Founder and Chief Strategist for www.KilmurryDigital.Marketing where search, social, mobile, email and web are integrated. He is currently an adjunct professor at The Catholic University of America where he teaches on topics related digital marketing and is also the author of the upcoming book from Liguori Publications “You are the Catholic Brand, A Personal Guide to Supercharging Your Faith.”
Prior to Drinker Biddle, Matthew was the Director of Digital Marketing at the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. He worked to develop web, mobile and social strategies to promote the USCCB’s wide range of strategic priorities and work within the organization to bring BIG ideas to fruition to support the U.S. Catholic Church.
Prior to the USCCB, Matthew worked within the multi-family and new home real estate industries as Director of Marketing for AvalonBay Communities, Inc., and Vice President of Interactive Marketing at The Bozzuto Group. He was responsible for all digital marketing efforts. Achievements include rebranding AvalonCommunities.com and Bozzuto.com. He also developed and implemented innovative social and online reputation programs and oversaw all SEO/SEM initiatives.
Prior to real estate, Matthew came from the agency world. He was the Interactive Marketing Manager at Crosby Marketing Communications. His main responsibilities included the day-to-day management of all search engine advertising efforts including pay-per-click, data analysis, optimization, tracking and reporting.
Before Crosby Marketing, Matthew was the founder and president of SurfTrends, a search engine optimization start-up.
