I’ve been pouring through dozens of videos in the real estate industry for apartments, condos, homes etc. I’m working with some very smart folks to make sure we are producing the best videos for our communities. I work at a very demanding company and our expectations of our video is nothing short of spectacular.
This video for The Riverhouse in New York is my favorite. They made great use of music, product stills, feature call outs and models to set a compelling scene for the prospective customer. What do you think? Do you have any other videos I should be reviewing?

Hey Matthew,
Thanks for the share. My friend recently shared with me a link to the Halstead Group in NYC who are heavily involved in video marketing for real estate properties. They’re all great.
This is by far the most entertaining of the lot- follow the below link and click on “video walkthroughs” to the right of each property listing.

I’m just getting into the business myself. I’m curious, how would you make a case for video for an apt. rental complex who’s manager claims that most of his rentals come from people driving by or referrals, and not web searches?
Thanks, and great post!

Thanks Daniel. Those are very clever video. The video for 180 West 58th Street reminds me of Old Spice.
And in regards to drive by and referrals, they are definitely important for a property, especially if it is in a high traffic location. However, the modern renter starts their apartment search in the same place we all start our searches: Google. We sometimes see upwards of 7 sessions before a prospect actually picks up the phone and calls.
